Why Choose Niche Ideas for a Blog?

A blog with different types of topics is just another “master of all trades”. You fail to attract loyal followers who will learn from you to buy the things you recommend. A niche blog can help you sell more because your content can be targeted to a specific goal. The other benefit of choosing a niche blog is to focus on the topic that is important when choosing a niche. Do you have an idea?

How to choose the best?

There are several ways to choose a blog niche. You can choose it in the corresponding field. You need to be happy with your products or services, and they will post your articles as well. If niche is the way to go, you should use your analytics or tracking, which helps you choose a blog niche topic. If you need more information about them, you can ask your friends or family. This will be available to you if you write yourself, for free or for paid purposes. Another way to choose a blog niche is that it will be applicable to all readers. Some people write according to their needs, as if it were their blog. Once you have chosen a topic, it will be good for you to choose a blog topic. The next step is to choose a blog creator.

Is there the blog niche problem? Hope you can solve the question.

What is a blog niche?

A blog niche is a specific topic that you plan to write about on your blog – write and create other types. In my early years of working, the blog I created for a game was. Rather than focusing on a reader interested in games, we needed to find the perfect target. A freelance blog could focus exclusively on graphic designers or a blog to help personal finance. When starting my blog, I use a name that is large enough to expand my target audience without changing the name. You don’t do anything else, but I wanted to point it out.

It is better for a niche blog to have little competition. There are several examples of websites as large and famous as the ones I have had. And most of your visitors have a blogging website. This proves that he is precious.

Remember that your site needs to be organized to accommodate the increased traffic it generates. Some companies have a good blog all over the place, but sometimes their blog is quirky.

Sometimes they use your site as a place to “sell” their website and have little or nothing to do with the actual content. When businesses do this, they are actually selling hundreds of links to their unique, auto-generated site, and they have nothing to do with who they really are. It’s wrong. They offer great content and great websites for NOTHING.

What kinds of blogs will make money?

So you might be wondering how all of this relates to making MONEY. ?

The truth is that almost any type of blog can generate income.

We strongly believe in it because we’ve seen some really wacky topics monetized in more than six figures.

Making money in the online world depends on the creativity and problem-solving skills of the individual blogger rather than the particular niche you find yourself in.

10 Popular and Profitable Blog Niches

We created this list based on a few factors:

  • Proven successful models,
  • Cost per click on Google,
  • And everyone’s personal experience.

Here is the recap of what we can see as professional bloggers.

1. Earn money online

You are currently on a blog that teaches you how to make money by telling you that teaching people how to make money is the best way to make money.

Yes, we’re here to tell you that these types of blogs generate big income. Usually, this is because you can charge higher prices for the products and people will spend more money if they think they can get it back.

People will identify with and trust more people who have real experience of doing something.

Don’t be that silly boy or girl who teaches people how to start an online business with no real experience!

As I said before, we first created our health and wellness blog. We are consistently making $ 10,000 / month with this blog long before we start Create and Go …

And on that note … we made up to $ 40,000 in just one MONTH from our health and fitness blog before teaching people how to make money online!

Here are some great examples of other blogs making bank talking about making bank (over $100k per month):

2. Financial guidance

Blogs on finance come next because they are always about MONEY. Saving money is basically making money, especially when you can scale it up.

Many financial bloggers also dive into the realm of “making money” because they are so closely related.

A couple of our favorite blogs in this space who are making over 10k per month:

3. Investment (stocks, cryptocurrencies, etc.)

You probably realize that we are still talking about money … We have been talking about earning it, saving it and now we are talking about INVESTING IT.

I think it’s a little less popular, or maybe competitive is the right word, because it requires a higher level of knowledge than making or saving money.

Stock market blogs have produced millionaires like Tim Sykes and others. The Financial Samurai is another killer in this space of serious investing.

4. Lifestyle and influencer

When I first heard that Kim Kardashian was making $ 100,000 + per Instagram post, I, like probably many of you right now, wanted to throw my laptop out the window.

It has become even more popular thanks to Instagram… The new incredibly profitable niche is that of the blogger or lifestyle influencer. It’s a blog where people care more about YOU than anything else.

If you have a sufficient number of subscribers, you can partner with sponsors to pay large sums to appear on your blog, Instagram account, etc.

In another example, we have Olesya Rulin from Girl Across the Blvd, who took advantage of her blog and content to become famous on Instagram (over 140,000 followers).

5. Health and fitness

The niche of weight loss is becoming more and more popular as our waistlines increase.

There are also MANY sub-niches under the general “Health & Fitness” category: Vegan, Paleo, Keto, Crossfit, Yoga, Beach Body, Abs, and more. – combined with the fact that you can mix and match them in any style you want.

As we said before, our first successful blog was in the health and wellness niche (specifically weight loss and yoga) and we were able to take it to over $ 20,000 / month. !

Here are some great examples:

6. Fashion

I had no idea how tall it was until I started my research.

It is one of the most popular blogging topics in the world.

Many fashion bloggers also fall under the “lifestyle” category, as they also write about makeup, food, and so on.

It makes sense because if I love your outfits and think you look beautiful, I’m probably also curious about what makeup you use to complement your outfit and what regimen you apply that makes this outfit so beautiful.

Some great examples of fashion bloggers making a killing are:

  • The Blonde Salad (reportedly bringing in over 10 million from starting a fashion line)
  • Song of Style (Millions of IG followers, so I’m sure she’s doing well based on the Kim K lifestyle)

7. Recipes and food

Recipe and Food Blogs are harder to monetize than most niches, but what they lack are users who want to spend the money they earn on MASSIVE traffic.

Blogs like Pinch of Yum attract several MILLION visitors each month, bringing their revenues to over $ 50,000 / m.

Fortunately, most blogs don’t need that much traffic to be successful. Depending on how you monetize, you can earn the same with a tenth of the traffic.

Most recipe and food blogs rely on high numbers to generate ad revenue because without a bestselling cookbook on Amazon, it can be harder to monetize these types of websites.

8. Pets

People LOVE their animals almost as much as their children these days.

Remember the pug example from earlier?

Well, the website Doug the Pug reportedly sells millions of dollars of merchandise every year.

Plenty of proven websites like Here Pup also pull in well over $10,000/m in affiliate marketing.

9. Travel

Travel blogs are also a little harder to monetize than most niches, but what they lack are users willing to spend the money they earn on BIG traffic and real estate advertising.

Travel blogs get a LOT of traffic because people love to look at pretty travel photos.

Successful examples like World of Wanderlust allow these bloggers to not only travel but get paid really well while doing so.

It’s A Lovely Life is another great example that reportedly makes over $138,000 blogging about family life.

10. Paternity

People love their children.

Perhaps the most powerful influence in marketing today is a passionate mother with a credit card.

I have yet to experience a more lucrative or profitable fan base.

Lucie’s List and Mommy on Purpose are pulling in the cheddar WHILE taking care of the kids. Talk about a couple of Bad-A bloggers #respect.

3 Easy steps to find your blog niche

If you’re still not sure which blogging niche is right for you, these three steps below should give you a better idea.

1. On what subject is it difficult for you to remain silent?

A blog is essentially an ongoing conversation between you and your readers. Of course, it’s a one-way street. But people still read and comment and take action because of what they write.

Being a former vegan and personal trainer, health, fitness, and weight loss were topics Alex and I couldn’t be silent about.

And we have lived it too. We ate healthy and exercised almost every day, and we enjoyed it. We were so involved that our friends asked us for advice.

So when we created our first blog, the only topic that made sense to us was health!

It’s also a process similar to why we launched Create and Go.

We were both business graduates from college and while we were developing our first blog, our absolute favorite part wasn’t actually helping others lose weight.

It is the growth of our online business that we have appreciated the most. The commercial and marketing aspects of it. We talk about it all the time!

We wanted to teach others the strategies we learned to grow our first online business. And that’s what we do through our blogging courses.

We all have something in our lives that we cannot be silent about. Parenthood, dogs, politics or maybe something a lot weirder than that … what’s your thing?

Don’t overcomplicate it and don’t violate Mistake # 1 by introspecting yourself too much. What do you like? It should be natural.

2. Start with a larger topic and move on to 3 to 5 subtopics that interest you.

The broad niche / topic of our health and wellness blog is Healthy Living, but the sub-niches or sub-topics are what really make the money.

This goes back to what we discussed at the start of this article with the importance of being specific and focused with your content.

We tested various health and fitness sub-themes during launch.

  • Receipes
  • coaching
  • Flat stomach secrets
  • Yoga
  • General weight loss
  • Detox and cleanse
  • Product Reviews
  • Cellulite
  • Diabetes

We started with too much. We really didn’t know what we were doing at the time, to be honest.

But when we started driving traffic from Pinterest, we quickly learned which topics our readers enjoyed the most: weight loss and yoga.

Start by thinking about a general topic you would like to write about, such as parenting, and narrow it down to a few subtopics that you would like to connect with an audience (best products and behavioral issues).

3. Let your audience decide.

You will find that you enjoy writing about certain topics a lot more, and that is great. But you also need to be open to the fact that your audience may also like some topics more than others.

You need to be open to evolving and changing your content over time if your audience asks for more.

Of course, this is not necessary. But…

You will find that there is tremendous satisfaction in helping others, and the more you come, the more you can help.

If you’re more on the ‘not too sure’ side, it’s probably best to start a little bigger and go back in time and find what you love to write the most or what your audience is most likely to like.

Remember: overthinking these things is the enemy, and no one will read your blog if you focus too much on yourself rather than your readers. Let them decide.

Your job is to write great blog posts!
