How To Automate Your Work With Zapier And WPForms
Follow the below steps to integrate the Zapier and WPForms.
Step 1 – Installing the WPForms and Zapier addon
The first thing to do is install the WPForms plugin on your WordPress site. You can do this by clicking on the link above or you can download it yourself. Once the installation process is complete, you need to install the Zapier plugin. Once you have activated the Zapier plugin, you will need to go to WPForms → Settings and then you will need to click on the Integrations tab.
In the tab, you will see the Zapier option. You need to click on it to open more details, where you can find the Zapier API key for your site.
Now don’t close this browser because you will need this API key in the next step
Step 2: create a Zap in Zapier
In Zapier, it says that the integrations it creates is called “Zaps”. So now the next step is to create a Zap envied by the information of your forms to another service.
Login to your Zapier account or create a new one that is a free account. After logging in, you will need to click the black + button in the upper left corner
Step 3 – Fill in the Zap details
After the above step, it will redirect you to a new page where you can enter your zap details. Give your zap a name and choose WPForms as the first application looking for it in choose Application and event.
Step 4: choose the triggering event
After completing the previous step, select New Form Entry as the triggering event and click the Continue button.
Step 5: Connect Zapier to WPForms
Now click on the Connect to WPForms button and enter your API key and the URL of your WordPress site from where we left you in step 1 to connect your Zapier account to your WPForms account. Click the Yes, Continue button when you are ready. Now choose an account you want to use for your zap and click continue.
Step 6 – Customize the form input
After completing the steps above, you will now be able to customize the form input. Select the form to connect with Zapier and click continue.
Step 7: Test the entry of the form
After clicking the Continue button in the previous step, the Find Data step appears, where you can enter sample entries to test your connection. Click the Test and Continue or Test and Review button before continuing with the steps. This will help you understand whether your onboarding is successful or not.
Step 8: choose the Target event and app
Now in this step, try to choose the target application that the data you get from WPForms should be sent to and what should be sent and what should you do with it. The steps will be shown to you depending on the application you choose.
